What is an inclusion?
Inclusions for your keepsake can vary from: breast milk, formula, ashes, placenta, dried umbilical cord, teeth, blanket, flowers or even pictures. It is can truly be anything you would like to keep close to your heart, forever.
 

What is breast milk/formula jewelry?

I take your breast milk or formula and preserve it. Once preserve, it gets casted into a resin stone. When it sets, we then create your customized piece.

How much breast milk/formula do you need?

As a general rule, I would like to have two ounces per piece. I have worked with less, but the amount needed varies by piece. If there is any question on amount and the piece, please contact me for further information! With all the leftover Breast milk/formula, it gets filed and stored for one year, for future purchases. After one year is past and there is still leftover material, it will be discarded appropriately.
 

How do I know it’s my breast milk/formula?

Preservation process starts immediately upon arrival, everything is clearly labelled and filed. All utensils are washed and sterilized prior to each order. No one’s milk will ever mix during any process it goes through. Each piece is custom created by hand and is an intimate piece between creator and client.
 

Does it need to be fresh breast milk/formula?

It can be fresh, thawed or frozen. The age of frozen breastmilk does not affect the process either! As it is not for consumption and is being preserved right away, the freshness of it does not affect the outcome of each piece . Formula can also be pre-mixed with water or in powder form.

What colour will my breast milk/formula be?

The resin that is mixed with the piece is completely clear. The colour of your breast milk/formula directly affects the color. This is what makes each piece so special and unique. The colour of your Breastmilk can vary from: yellow, green, white pink and even blue tinge sometimes. Not one piece is ever the same.
 

Do I need breastmilk to buy a piece?

No, I can create the piece you would like with the inclusion you choose. I can create the milky look without using breastmilk, or one of the colours that will be in a drop-down menu in each piece. How long will the jewelry last for?

Proper care of your piece, will ensure it will last longer than a lifetime. With each piece you will get a care card that has care recommended and instructions. Please follow all suggested instructions to give your piece the best care possible. As most metals can tarnish, please avoid: swimming, cleaning or showering with your jewelry on. Please store jewellery in a dry place and separate from from different metals. Please avoid direct UV sunlight for a prolonged periods and avoid essential oil’s/scented creams. This can deteriorate the jewelry over time. After every use a polishing cloth, this can aid in keeping your piece in perfect condition.
 

How long does it take to make the piece?

Once payment is made and the inclusion is received in the mail, the special process begins. Upon arrival of your inclusion it will be cast into resin for the creation stage. The next stage once the resin is cured, will be the finishing and polishing stage. The last stage will be shipping back to you. I prefer to have up to 6-10 weeks for each piece. Perfection on each piece is my priority and no piece will be delivered until the perfection is obtained.
 

Do you except refund or exchange? 

Due to the nature of the product, no, I do not except a return or exchange. This piece is only particular to you and no one else. If there is something you really do not like about the piece, please contact me for further discussion. If there is an error due to the preservation of the milk. It is in my specialist opinion, that it will occur in the first three months of creation. I will remake the piece for free. If yellowing occurs after three months, please contact me for further review of the piece. I use the highest quality resins and metals to ensure these things will not to happen!
 

How does shipping work?

I have laid out instructions under shipping information. Please follow all instructions for each inclusion: the required amounts, labelling and shipping. If there are any questions, do not hesitate to contact me please. You are responsible for shipping the inclusion to myself, and the amount for shipping back to you will be included in final price.
 

What happens if I move locations?

Please contact as soon as possible to make sure the jewelry goes to the right destination. It is up to the client to keep us informed of the proper address to send it back to. 
 

What happens with leftover inclusions?

All inclusions get properly labelled and stored for one year. The exception is ashes, unless otherwise directed, all remaining ashes will be sent back with the finished pieces. If after a year has gone by and the remaining inclusions have not been used, they will be discarded appropriately.
